Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Obsidian Stone LLC (“Obsidian Stone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit obsidianstonegroup.com, use any of our mobile applications (the “Apps”), or buy from any of our online stores (together, the “Services”).

Obsidian Stone LLC is the data controller for information processed through the Services. You can reach us at any time at support@obsidianstonegroup.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details — such as your name and email address when you contact support or sign up for updates.
  • Order details — when you buy from one of our stores: name, shipping and billing address, email, phone number and order history. Card payments are handled by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Account details — if an App offers an account, the information you provide to create it (for example, email address).
  • Feedback and messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical data — device model, operating-system version, app version, language, time zone and similar diagnostics.
  • Usage and diagnostics — crash reports, performance data and how features are used, which help us fix problems and improve the Services.
  • Website data — IP address, browser type and pages viewed, collected by our hosting provider in server logs.

Purchase and subscription information

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive your payment card details. We receive limited transaction information (such as product purchased, purchase date, subscription status and an anonymous app user identifier) from Apple and from our subscription-management provider so we can unlock the features you paid for and restore purchases.

Content processed on your device

Some Apps may use device features such as the camera, microphone, photos, notifications or local network to deliver their core functions. Each App asks for your permission before using these features, and you can change permissions at any time in your device’s Settings. Unless an App clearly states otherwise in its description or in the App-specific disclosures below, this content is processed on your device and is not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

How we use information

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Services, including features you request.
  • To process and deliver orders, and to verify purchases and subscriptions.
  • To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Services.
  • To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve performance, safety and features.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
  • To send marketing emails, only where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites without your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt.

We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers that process data on our behalf under contract — for example hosting, crash reporting, subscription management, e-commerce platforms, payment processors, email delivery and shipping carriers. They may only use it to provide services to us.
  • Apple, which processes App Store purchases and subscriptions under its own privacy policy.
  • Legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Obsidian Stone, our users or others.
  • Business transfers — as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

App-specific disclosures

Each App’s data practices are also summarized in its App Privacy label on the App Store. Where an App collects or uses information differently from what is described above, it is listed here.

No apps are currently published under Obsidian Stone LLC. As each app is released, its app-specific disclosures will be added here.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, for as long as you use an App, as long as needed to fulfil and support an order, or as required for tax, accounting and legal purposes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your personal information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do neither).
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

California residents: the rights above include those under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA). EEA/UK residents: our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations and consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

How to make a request

Email support@obsidianstonegroup.com with the subject “Data Request,” or use the form on our Support page. Tell us which App or store you used and what you would like us to do. We will verify your request and respond within 30 days (or sooner where the law requires). If an App lets you create an account, you can also delete your account and its associated data from within the App.

Device controls

You can revoke camera, microphone, photos, notification, local-network and tracking permissions at any time in your device’s Settings. Deleting an App removes data stored locally on your device by that App.

Children’s privacy

Our Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@obsidianstonegroup.com and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for international transfers.

Third-party links and services

The Services may link to or integrate third-party websites and services (such as the App Store). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date and, where changes are material, provide additional notice (for example, in the App or by email).
